Itinerary
Day one (1)
Start early and take the trekking path to the Badami fort and enjoy the most panoramic view of the Town and the sunrise amidst the crimson rocks.
. You will need around (one hour).
Enjoy the Sunrise from the top most Vantage point set in the backdrop of Agastya Lake and boulders in every size.
through today’s Badami walk up to the Bhoothnath Group of temples and enjoy the Dravidian style Architecture in the capital town of Chalukya Dynasty. (one hour)

Day 2
After a sumptuous breakfast of South Indian delicacies visit the Badami Cave temples .They are Open at              7:00am. You require around 2 hrs to leisurely see the caves.
Do take the Guide to enjoy the unknown and untold stories.
By Noon leave for Pattadakal and settle under a shady tree to view and understand all the mythology                             and  carved, architectural models until they got it right.
With an umbrella, hat and a water bottle in hand visit the most wonderful design models of our today’s many temples. You need around 2 hrs
around lunchtime leave for Ahiole. Relax and have a traditional lunch of the native. Staple food of Bajra and Jowar patties veggies,  sauteed millet in dry spices and buttermilk
around 4 p.m. start exploring the ruins of of Aihole  which today are are are a UNESCO World Heritage site
Enjoy the sun set and the cooling of the climate  as you finish your day.

Day 3

☞ Start early as the string of temples is unending , each beautiful than the other . 

Walking shoes is a must .Stay overnight as it’s a long day  and lot to see.

Day 4

☞ Return with great memories 

Hotels
Badami is a small town and has reasonable options to stay we stayed at the Fern Badami and were booked with breakfast and dinner at the in-house restaurant
Travel
Public transport is a good option once in Badami as all the three sites are located in close proximity of each other.
Auto rickshaws and hired vehicles are easily available you can bargain for your rentals for a reasonable cost
We were travelling with the hired vehicle from Belgaum and our route was.
Belgaum to Badami and spent 2 days. Badami to Pattadakal. Pattadakal to Aihole to Anegundi to Hampi and Hampi .We spent 2 days.
Belgaum and back to Nasik by flight.

Nearest airports are Bangalore and Belgaum.
Food
Many road side options are available keeping the pandemic travel in mind we had packed food and water other than that multiple options along the way are readily available
Packaged drinking water is suggested
Important Pointers
Sightseeing time should be 6 a.m. to 12 noon and 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Entry fees
They are  usually reasonable and readily available
Washroom at all the sites are maintained by the Government of Karnataka which is a great relief.
