Being an Educator for the past 20years, my story with travel began in the early stage of my marriage. My husband & I both are passionate about travel. We are located at Nasik,  Maharashtra a city surrounded by hills mountains & with  Good climate all year round.  Our Love story with travel & exploring in & around  Nasik grew making it a long-term relationship  Trimbakeshwar a small town where one of the Jyotirlingas is located is set amidst hills at the foothills of the Godavari river, Just 28 KM away.

As we grew with age, jobs & family, stuck with the mundane routine the urge to travel & let ourselves free became stronger.  Mostly I traveled with family & friends & slowly shifted to solo travel. For me to travel is important, when it is with like-minded people it is more fun. I love History, diverse culture & all forms of landscape, but what attracts me the most is the History & the mountains as I relate life to its huge expanse & how a very small place I occupy in this World. Traveled across 4 countries & many places in India I have started respecting the locals with each one’s unique culture & their lifestyle. My list is endless as I plan to travel to every inch possible.

I am a newbie at blogging but have many tales to tell from my various trips, for me, I want to inspire people to come out of their routines, schedules & day to day life & explore small beauties of life on any budget that suits their pockets. My idea of travel is to move away from the confines of my home & to adapt to the landscape, people, food, language, culture & history.   Travelling made me find myself as a more patient & mindful person. With every trip, I grew & added a new facet to my personality.

Being a full time working professional I balance my work & travel,I am still learning photography, at 53 I want to tell all those who are yet to start or are skeptical about how? “Age is just a number you can do it & it’s never too late”.

I strongly feel about sustainable travel & implement all that I learn on each of my journeys as I strongly believe change needs to start from me. In a small country, I learned to respect the pedestrians as they are vulnerable when on the road & many more life lessons.
